To iBlog5 Attendees: How to claim your free BLOG plan

Thanks to your patience specially to those who emailed us.

GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH is still at least a week away from marketing itself (and at least another two weeks to develop our own in house support tool- eTicket). We still do not have any good picture to show in our front page even.

But we can already start selling and making good on our promises. One of that is to give away BLOG plan to iBlog5 attendees as part of our promotion and sponsorship.

On Monday the first of June, you may start claiming the freebies that we owe you. Please use the same email that you used to register for iBlog5.

Inching closer to opening our store

There have been quite a few road blocks but GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH opening is at hand.

I am wondering how much appeal we have to people who do not necessarily have the skills of a web programmer. In particular, is our hosting page easy enough for our intended audience? I have made it as non technical as possible but when offering something like web hosting it is not easy to stay “colloquial”. I also wonder what else would “normal” folks look for when buying a web hosting for their blog or for their company web site.

A week after…

All we got to show is a fancy/cutesy favicon (the one you will see at your browser address bar). But the truth is, our Order Script is just around the corner. A little more testing and GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH would start opening its store. Though there would definitely be continued improvements in our site.

And oh, we have not forgotten about our promise to iBlog5 attendees.

Congrats iBlog5!

iBlog5 was definitely a resounding success. The summit was jampacked and there are lots of food for all from the sponsors (not to mention beer in the after party). The lineup of talks were all insightful.

GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH is proud to be the web host sponsor of the iBlog website starting from this iBlog iteration. GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH is looking forward to a long term partnership with iBlog.

As part of our promotion and sponsorship, we will be giving away free one year BLOG plan to attendees of the iBlog5 Summit. Only catch is, we will require that you use our (small) logo in your site. Of course, it does not include domain name and you will have to abide by our site’s terms of service just like other paid hosting. More details would be posted soon.

Still not yet ready for the party…

First off, happy day to all the mothers who brought us all into this world. May all of them enjoy this moment even though this may not compare to all the hardship they had in caring for us since we were small.

GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH is still under heavy construction. But expect us to build our home quite fast. Expect your admin to work as soon as this blog post is finished. (Or maybe after another post…)
