To iBlog5 Attendees: How to claim your free BLOG plan

Thanks to your patience specially to those who emailed us.

GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH is still at least a week away from marketing itself (and at least another two weeks to develop our own in house support tool- eTicket). We still do not have any good picture to show in our front page even.

But we can already start selling and making good on our promises. One of that is to give away BLOG plan to iBlog5 attendees as part of our promotion and sponsorship.

On Monday the first of June, you may start claiming the freebies that we owe you. Please use the same email that you used to register for iBlog5.

So here are the steps to claim the free web hosting for iBlog5 attendees:

1. Go through our Order Script. If you do not have a domain yet it would be a good idea to take advantage of our existing promo of .info domain for only 200 pesos for the first year. (But you are free to buy your domain some where else or make use of an existing one.)

When you reach the page for choosing of plans, make sure you choose BLOG. And in the part that it asks you for coupon code- type IBLOG (all caps). Your webhosting bill part should then read free as we promised.

Note that GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH would not be processing the free install on sign up for this promo. You may go ahead using fantastico to install wordpress or instead you may wait for us to make a blog entry in here soon.

Now what’s the catch?

  1. GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH expects you to install wordpress on the root of your web hosting.
  2. GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH expects you to use their small hosted by banner prominently in your home page. The HTML code is
    <p align="center">
    <a href="http://greatwebhost.com.ph" title="GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH">
    <img src="http://greatwebhost.com.ph/images/gwhhostedby.jpg" title="GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH" alt="GREATWEBHOST.COM.PH"/>
    </a>
    </p>

Other than that, you may do so as you wish with your web hosting plan. Enjoy!
